Dickens wanted to see a movie in the theater and when Pugh was made known of this request, he opened up the cinema at a special time for the patient and family and friends to attend. All who attended (around 30 people) received free concessions. In addition, he and his wife purchased an IPad for Dickens. Holzer Hospice would like to thank Pugh and Silver Screen VII for their donation for the Hospice patient and family. “The Pughs are wonderful people and went above and beyond to provide a positive lasting memory for our pediatric patient and her family and friends,” stated Shelly Few, Hospice employee. ”It’s because of community support that we are able to provide such wonderful opportunities for our patients,” stated Sharon Shull, Holzer Hospice Director. “We are proud to be able to provide not only healthcare services, but also go above and beyond for the communities we serve.”
