Middleport Village to Meet Tonight, Discuss Grant Use Options

MIDDLEPORT – The Middleport Village Council will be meeting tonight at 7 p.m at the Village Hall. One of the topics on the agenda will be  a grant through the Meigs County Grants Office through the Meigs County Commissioners.

The grant will provide $300,000 for various community projects in Middleport. Some of the things the grant may be used for include improvements to streets, sidewalks community centers, park and recreation, public sewer and water systems, and fire facilities. The grant may also be used to provide fire equipment and demolish unsafe structures.
