2014-03-11 21.21.20SYRACUSE – The war on hunger at the home front continues with another fundraiser to help those in need.

The Home National Bank is having a fundraiser for the “Stop Hunger at Home” campaign. The “Stop Hunger Games” will be at the Syracuse Community Center March 20 with the doors opening at 5 p.m. The games will begin at 6 p.m.

The games are $20 for 20 games. There will be an Early Bird drawing, side raffles, 50/50, door prizes and more. Tickets may be purchased in advance from a Home National Bank employee at either the Racine or Syracuse locations. The prizes will featured include various products of Thirty-One, Origami Owl Jewelry, Longaberger.

Those who bring a non-perishable food item will be entered in a special drawing. The food donations will benefit the Meigs County Cooperative Parish.

There will also be concession be the Syracuse Community Center.

All proceeds will benefit the Meigs County Council on Aging.

Many face hunger each day. The “Stop Hunger at Home” campaign is a local effort to combat hunger and it benefits local people in need.
