Gallipolis Career College Appoints New Director of Education

Gallipolis Career College is proud to announce that Denny Daugherty has been promoted to Director of Education. Daugherty has been serving the college since October 2009 as an instructor, teaching an array of computer, communication, and professional development courses. Prior to being promoted to Director of Education, he began serving the school in a full-time role in 2013 as the Assistant Director of Admissions. “I’m really excited and honored to have been selected for this new position. The Director of Education has always played a key leadership role within the school, and I look forward to finding new and interesting ways to lead and motivate our student body and faculty.” Daugherty is a 2009 graduate of Cedarville University, completing a B.A. in Comprehensive Communication, and a 2013 graduate of Marshall University, completing an M.A. in Communication Studies. The Director of Education manages most educational aspects of the college, ranging from curriculum and textbook selection to faculty selection and oversight.
