Obit CandleElecta L. Martin, 59, of Gallipolis, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

She was born on January 30, 1955 in Gallipolis, daughter of the late Terley L. Clagg Sr. and Mary Lou Sands Clagg. She was a 1973 GAHS graduate and a University of Rio Grande graduate. She enjoyed her grandkids and dogs.

Surviving are her daughter, Tara Wroten (Tim Wright) of Crown City; four grandchildren, Bethany (Brady) Brannen of Clarksville, Tennessee, Dakota Wroten of Crown City, Alicia (David) Russell of Leon, West Virginia, and Josh (Kim) Wroten of Beckley, West Virginia; 7 great grandchildren; two brothers, Terley L. Clagg Jr. of Chillicothe and Nathan Ray (Tammy) Clagg of Gallipolis; special friend, Andy Chevalier of Gallipolis; former sons-in-law, Mike Bush of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia and Kenny Wroten of Crown City; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Electa was preceded in death by a brother Billy Clagg, a sister Gwin Montgomery, a niece Temberley Johnson and special friend Phil Unroe.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 6-8 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Dakota Wroten, Ray Clagg, Nathan Clagg, Nick Clagg, Aaron Phillips, and Scott Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Trevor Bevan and Levi Russell.
