Florence Sheets, 89

Florence Sheets, 89, of Gallipolis, formerly of Fairborn, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Holzer Assisted Living.

She was born May 6, 1925 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Irvin and Cassie Sheets Fellure. She married Myron E. Sheets and he preceded her in death in May, 2007. Florence was a retired seamstress for J.C. Penney and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and helping others. She loved to travel with the Springfield Senior Citizens.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Sheets, of Ft. Worth, Texas; two sisters, Bernice Stowers and Lillia (Wendell) Haner, both of Gallipolis; two brothers, Harry Lee (Mary Lou) Fellure and Russell (Judy) Fellure, both of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Myron Sheets, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Lewis, and Terry Dean Fellure and a sister, Dorothy Houck.

Services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastors Jim Lusher and Randy Carnes officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. Entombment will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Rose Hill Mausoleum Burial Park, Springfield, Ohio.
