Robert Howell Craft, 83

Robert Howell Craft, 83, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 09, 2014, at the Holzer Medical Center.

Bob was born on July 29, 1931 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Hobart M. and Clara A. Helmintoller Craft. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, The Morning Dawn Masonic Lodge #7 in Gallipolis, a 32nd degree Mason, and was a U.S. Marine, serving during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife Eileen Strong Craft, whom he married on February 14, 2010. Also surviving are one daughter Debbie (Richard) Poole, two sons John R. Craft, and Michael (Anna) Craft; step-children Todd Carter and Rhonda Lynn Reed; grandsons Nathan (Rachel) Harvey, Matthew Harvey, and Justin Craft, granddaughter Kirsten Craft; step grandchildren Ty Reed, Collin and Camden Carter; great grandson Caleb Harvey; one brother Melvin (Donna) Craft; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Geraldine Craft, a son Kenneth H. Craft, and by three brothers, Allen Craft, Paul Craft, and James H. Craft.

Services will be 11 am Friday, December 12, 2014 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Lusher officiating. His burial will be in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at Willis Funeral Home, on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 5-7 pm. There will be a Masonic Service at 7 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Military Services will be provided by the Gallia County Funeral Detail at the graveside on Friday.
