Roxie Marie Wells, age 84

Roxie Marie Wells, age 84, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Thursday July 9, 2015 at her residence. Born December 13, 1930 in Lawrence County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Timothy Sprouse and Piccola Clemens Sprouse. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her Husband; Harley Reed Wells Sr.; by 6 Brothers; Norman, Cecil, Calvin, Sydney, William, and Albert Sprouse; and by 3 Sisters; Lola Mae Morris, Myrtle Cravis, and Bessie Cummons.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Providence Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by Sons; Robert Eugene (Connie) Wells of Patriot, Harley Reed Wells Jr. of Crown City, Billy Jo Wells of Gallipolis, Larry Dean (Becky) Wells of Chesapeake, Michael Orin Wells of Jackson, and Mark Allen (Laura) Wells of Crown City; Daughters; Sandra Sue (Randy) Shafer of Crown City and Patty Lou Wells of Crown City; Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and by 1 Great Great Grandchild; and by her Sisters; Betty Saunders of Gallipolis, Mary (Alfred) Whitt of South Bloomington, OH., Bonnie Kemper of Gallipolis, Barbara (Jim) Miller of Lancaster, and Sally (Francis) Waugh of Crown City.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Monday July 13, 2015 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Barry Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-8 PM.

Pallbearers will be: David Wells, Jason Wells, Logan Wells, Jonathan Wells, Lucas Wells, and Matt Comer.
