Delmus “Del” Farley, 79

Delmus “Del” Farley, 79, Wilkesville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born June 8, 1936, at Logan County, West Virginia to the late Hiawatha and Mary Pridemore Farley. Del is survived by his wife Carol Farley. He was a member of American Legion Post 476, Wilkesville, Ohio and served in the Army National Guard.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Delmus Farley II, Mary Michelle (Andrew) Caldwell, and Amy (Dean) Adam; grandchildren, Brendan Caldwell and Alyson, Austin, and Aidan Adam; siblings: Linda (Marcus) Prater, Forrest (Rae) Farley, Jack Farley, Brenda (Jim) Wright, Mary Jo Baker, Kathy (Gene) Haslett, Dena Griffin, Deborah Patton, and Vonda Farley.

Del was preceded in death by sisters, Doris Prater, Esther Patterson, and an infant sister.

A Celebration of Del’s life will be held Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. at the Joseph Freeman American Legion Hall, 26100 Legion Grove Road, Langsville, Ohio.
