Christian candle cross obitElnora Virginia Bostic, 86, of Gallipolis, died Sunday July 31, 2016 at Holzer Senior Care Center. Born July 9, 1930 in Alkol, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mabel Price Adkins. In addition to her parents, Elnora was preceded by her husband, Nelson R. Bostic, a son, Nelson Bostic Jr., and by two brothers, William Henson Adkins, and Eugene Hillard Adkins.

Elnora was a former telephone operator for Ohio Bell, and also formerly worked as a clerk at G.C. Murphy’s for many years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, and the ECW at St. Peter’s.

She is survived by, two daughters, Linda (John) Sager of Gallipolis and Carolyn (Dick Brown) Wasch of Gallipolis, five grandchildren, Michelle Williams of Gallipolis, Ashley (Zack ) Ruff of Asheville, NC, Lance Bostic of New Lexington, Brad (Niki) Bostic of Bucyrus, and Adam Wasch of Gallipolis, one great grandchild, Cameron Whitt of Gallipolis. Also surviving is one brother, Glenn Harold (Shirley) Adkins of Gallipolis, and a daughter in law, Janice Bostic of Huron.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday August 3, 2016 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Leslie Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be: Adam Wasch, Zack Ruff, Lance Bostic, Brad Bostic, John Sager and Dick Brown.
