Nathan P. Biggs, 96, of Pomeroy, Ohio passed away on December 19, 2016. He was born on March 28, 1920 in Chester, Ohio son of the late Arthur and Olive Biggs. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his children, William R. (Carolyn) Biggs of Pomeroy, Sharon Biggs of Pomeroy, and step-daughter, Jean Casto Hilton of Parkersburg, WV; six grandchildren, Randy Bowling of Florida, Penny (David) Hysell of Pomeroy, Angela Chapman of Prescot, Ontario, Vinda Erwin of Racine, Amanda (Ronnie) Godfrey of Anmoore, WV and James Nathan Biggs of Pomeroy; eleven Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bette J. Biggs; six Brothers and two Sisters.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11:00am with Pastor Russ Moore officiating at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial followed at Meigs Memory Gardens where full military honors will be presented by the American Legion.
