RACINE – Farmers Bank once again is sponsoring a “Crawl for Cash” night as Southern hosts Wahama in high school basketball action Tuesday, January 24 beginning at 5 p.m.

During the evening, four students will be randomly selected to “Crawl for Cash” while being blindfolded during the halftime of the men’s varsity game. They will have 30 seconds to collect as much cash as they possibly can. All the cash they collect, they will get to keep. A total of $250 will be placed at the center court. The students will be guided by Farmers Bank employees.

Additionally, Farmers Bank will be hosting a non-perishable food drive contest at the game. The two schools and their fans will go head-to-head to see which school can bring in the most food. The school that brings in the most food will have $250 donated to their Athletic Boosters. All of the donated food will go to a local food bank.

The night at Southern rounds out the event for the season for the bank. Previously, Farmers Bank sponsored similar nights at Meigs, Gallia Academy, Wahama, Point Pleasant and Eastern High Schools.
