Multiple departments respond to Friday morning house fire

FIVE POINTS – Multiple fire departments were on the scene of house fire Friday morning.
Chester, Bashan, and Pomeroy Fire Departments responded along with Meigs EMS Medic 7 to a residence on St. Rt. 7 near the intersection of Eagle Ridge Road.
Firefighters were still on the scene as of publication. At least one room of the home appeared to be damaged by the fire. The home was occupied. There was no report of injuries as of publication.
