ATHENS, Ohio – The Alzheimer’s Association, West Virginia Chapter which serves Meigs County, is hosting a Volunteer Informational Session.

The session will be on Thursday, February 16, from 3-5 p.m. in Athens at Ohio University’s Alden Library, Third Floor, Friends of the Library Room (Room 319).

“Volunteers are the fuel behind the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association,” said Executive Director Bethany Hall. “Every day, those committed to our cause step up to become volunteers in our offices, at events and across communities, demonstrating the power we have when we join together.”

The Alzheimer’s Association is looking for passionate, inspired volunteers that want to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or can make a more significant time commitment, this informational session will provide all the details needed to get involved.
