Maurice Smith, 81
Maurice Smith, 81, of Pomeroy, died Monday, February 13, 2017 at his residence.
Born January 10, 1936 in Minersville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Robert and Lillian Hood Smith. He attended Carlton School.
Maurice is survived by cousins Jim and Donna Davis, Sharon Johnson, Betty Ash, Margaret Dailey, Jimmy Hemsley, Rollie Hemsley and Elaine Miller.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by Harry (Eileen) Clark, Thelma Hawley and Alma Hysell.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Ewing-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery in Pomeroy.
