POMEROY, Ohio – Known as Southeast Ohio’s largest motorcycle run, the 32nd Annual Meigs County Memorial Day Run is a three day event happening this weekend in Pomeroy, Ohio.

The event is scheduled for May 26 through May 28, 2017 with music, vendors and various activities.

On Friday, May 26, there will be bike blessing available at 6 p.m. Vendors will be on hand and Oasis Praise Band will be performing live music.

Saturday, May 27 is the poker run. Sign ups start at 10 a.m. to noon at the Eagles in Pomeroy. Bikes out are set to go out at noon. The cost is $10 per person.

Additionally, there will be a bike show, vendors, and music with DJ Kip from noon to 5 p.m. Blitzkreig will be performing from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

On Sunday, May 28, the 32nd Memorial Run will take place. There are no sign up fees for the run. The run will begin at 1 p.m. There will be vendors and music with DJ Kip from noon to 5 p.m.
Proceeds from the poker run, sales, and donations are used for underprivileged children in Meigs County for Christmas.

Everyone is encouraged to stop by the Memorial Run vendor booth to purchase a Memorial run t-shirt, souvenir, bike flag, 2017 Memorial Run button, and/or tickets for the $1,000 cash raffle to help those in need have a brighter Christmas.
