CHESTER, Ohio – The Meigs Heritage Festival will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017.

The event has been held at Eastern High/Elementary School in the past, but organizers have brought the festival back to Chester Courthouse and Academy. Vendors, food including homemade ice cream, raffles, games and exhibitors are all set to be part of festival. The festivities will run from through the day.

Beginning at 8 a.m., breakfast will be available until 10 a.m. Lunch begins at 11 a.m.

The Car Show begins at 9 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. Registration for the Car Show begins at 9 a.m. The winners will be announced and trophies awarded at 2:30 p.m. Venders, exhibitors, raffles, and games will be available from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Among the activities at the festival will be the Pie Contest. Registration is from 9-11 a.m., with the judging being held at 11:30 a.m. The Pie Auction will be at 3:30 a.m.

Meigs Finest, recognition of the Oldest Meigs County Man and Woman in attendance will be doing registration from 10-11 a.m. with the crowning at 11:30 a.m.

The State of Ohio Harmonica Contest begins at 4 p.m. with registration from 3-3:30 p.m.
