MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio – Meigs County is under a Red Flag warning from the National Weather Service until 8 p.m. on April 12, 2018.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

Any fires can rapidly spread therefore outdoor burning is not recommended. In April there is a burn ban from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., however, the Red Flag Warning is until 8 p.m.
