SYRACUSE, Ohio – An informational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the Syracuse Community Center concerning the proposed Justice Center levy on the primary ballot.

Information will be available along with representatives from other counties that have built similiar projects. The proposed Bond Issue and Tax Levy is for the construction of a new criminal justice facility which will include a new county jail and sheriff’s office.

Anyone with questions concerning the proposed new jail and Meigs County Sheriff’s Office is encouraged to attend.

Larry’s Dog House will also have their ice cream truck there for free ice cream to all those who attend.
