MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio – It is the season of giving and thinking of others including those that may not have adequate coats as the temperatures drop. An area radio station was thinking of local students that may not have a warm coat.

Recently, Shari Cochran of Big River Radio was the recipient of a small supply of brand new winter coats for mostly elementary school aged children.

Recognizing a need, Tom Payne of ‘Big Country’ and Steven Figiel of K92 offered them to listeners who only had to stop by the radio studios and pick up a coat.

Others were delivered to the Elementary School Principal’s at Eastern and Southern for distribution to children who need a winter coat.
