On Tuesday, Governor DeWine held a meeting of his cabinet and conducted ceremonial swearings-in. DeWine and the cabinet began work immediately on implementing his agenda and helping foster a more prosperous Ohio.

On Wednesday, Governor DeWine spoke at the Ohio Association of Career, Technical, and Adult Educators Legislative Seminar. Career and technical education are an important part of training Ohioans for the jobs employers are trying to fill both today and in the future.

On Thursday, Governor DeWine was in Dayton on the first stop of his RecoveryOhio listening tour. Discussion included strategies to provide better services to those suffering from substance abuse disorders or mental illness. 

On Friday, Governor DeWine authorized deployment of Ohio National Guard cyber warriors to assist the City of Akron following a cyber attack. Governor DeWine has long stated the state would be a partner in helping local government, and today’s deployment is one of the many ways the State of Ohio can provide assistance.
