The Meigs Indpendent Press received word this morning that a tree has fallen across a portion of County Road 28 and it is not passable. The tree is blocking a section of road toward Apple Grove Road and is completely blocking the road.
High winds caused several trees and branches to fall last night causing power outages for some in the area as well.
