Beatrice “Bea” Biars, 76

Obit CandleBeatrice “Bea” Biars, 76, of Gallipolis, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at her residence.

She was born August 17, 1937 in Mason County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Guy and Gertrude Luckeydoo Pullins. She was married to Christopher “Junior” Biars for 57 years and he survives her. Bea was a retired manager for Kentucky Fried Chicken. She enjoyed auctions, yard sales, and pony pulls. Bea and Junior loved sitting on the back porch drinking coffee.

Surviving are her husband, Junior Biars of Gallipolis; seven children, Bill (Joyce) Biars, Pete (Jackie) Biars, Melvin (Jo) Biars, Ralph (Sharon) Biars, Paul Biars, Charlie (Brenda Greene) Biars, all of Gallipolis and Tammy (Brian Williams) Biars of Letart, West Virginia; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Webb, Chris Biars, Eric Biars, Crystal (David) Camp, Dustin Biars, Nathan Biars, Aaron Addis, Trevor Addis, Adam (AJ) Addis; four great grandchildren, Caitlin, Logan, Landon, Leighton Camp; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Joe Pullins, a grandson, Charlie Addis, a daughter-in-law, Joan Biars, brothers and sisters, Arthur “Duke” Pullins, Marie Fridley, Pearl Cougor, Esta Hudson, Jamie Pullins, Linda Beaver.

Services will be 7:00 pm, Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Wiseman officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00– 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
