On June 10th, Racine Southern’s FFA officer team set off to Hocking Hills, Ohio for their 2014-2015 Officer Retreat. They were there for 3 days planning and scheduling out their school years, FFA Program of Activities, in a beautiful cabin. The officers got a lot accomplished, and are expecting the year to go very well for the FFA and their community. Of course the Officer Retreat wasn’t all business and planning, What’s FFA without a little fun? They had a fire going almost every night and made s’mores, and in the mornings the officers got up early and made breakfast for everyone. They went canoeing and kayaking and had a blast, although there was some struggling and a canoe was sunk not once, but twice it made for some memories that will last a lifetime. Racine Southern’s FFA officers had so much fun on their retreat and are excited for the 2014-2015 school year to begin.
