Winston C. Trent, 73

Winston C. Trent, 73 of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Monday September 8, 2014 in The Ohio State University Hospitals, Columbus. He was born October 10, 1940 in Christian W.Va. son of the late Hazel and Lucy Vance Trent. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Winston is survived by three children; Bradley (Jodie) Trent, Mesa, Az., Anita (Jerel) Collins, Roanoke, Va. and Linda (Scott) Oiler, Vinton, Oh., four grandchildren: Tyler and Tori Trent, Christopher and Madison Oiler; four sisters: Juanita (Fred) Bledsoe, Barboursville, W.Va. and Sue Ruo-Rock, Huntington Beach, Fla., Betty Konikof, Boise, ID., and Romaine (Jim) Jones, Bradenton, Fla., and Special Caregiver, Donna Oiler, Gallipolis, OH.
Winston was preceded in death by his wife Carol Trent, brothers, Denver and Ernest Trent and sisters, Gladys Heading and Ethel Mae Crider.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am, Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 in Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Vinton with Rev. Heath Jenkins officiating. Full Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Vinton American Legion Post #161. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton is honored to serve the Trent family.
