Southeast Ohio Tree City Program Celebrates 25 years as a Tree City USA

The City of Athens is proud to invite you to the 2015 Tree City Award Ceremony. This annual event recognizes the hard work and achievements of Southeastern Ohio Community forestry volunteers and officials. We are excited to share our accomplishments over the last 25 years and to learn about your community’s Community Forestry efforts and successes.

The City of Athens has made arrangements for entertaining and informative presentations, a little history of the famous Athens Asylum, a walking tour and an Arbor Day Tree Planting. Weather cooperating, we will be walking outside. Please dress casually and bring umbrellas if necessary.
