“I voted to oppose the President’s nuclear agreement with Iran, because I believe that infusing this Iranian regime – which is a robust, unapologetic sponsor of terrorism, dedicated to developing nuclear weapons – with billions of dollars is a grave mistake. On this day, of all days, we must remember that there is evil in this world committed to the destruction of America. This agreement, in my view, makes the world a much more dangerous place.”
In addition to voting NO on H.R. 3461, the approval of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, Rep. Johnson voted in support of H.R. 3460, which would prevent the President from ending the current sanctions against Iran.
