So far in 2016, OSHP troopers have made 23,333 OVI arrests.
“Troopers take impaired driving seriously. We want all motorists to get home safely, and we will enforce impaired driving laws to get dangerous drivers off the roads,” said Colonel Paul Pride, Patrol superintendent. “Motorists, remember that all OVI-related crashes are preventable. Be a part of the solution by pledging to always drive sober and encouraging others to do the same.”
The 6-State Trooper Project is a multi-state law enforcement partnership aimed at providing combined and coordinated law enforcement and security services in the areas of highway safety, criminal patrol and intelligence sharing.
