POMEROY – After a major remodel project, Pomeroy’s Pizza Hut dinning room is once again open for patrons.
The month and a half long renovation involved a complete change for the dinning room of the restaurant. Gone are the bright red booths and seats and in their place are modern tables, chairs, booths and lighting.
Manager Tanner Brotherton said, “There are a few things left to do.”
He said those few things left to do include replacing the cash register counter, but as of December 9, the dinning room was open for the patrons again.
In addition to the dinning room remodel inside, the building has a new roof, landscaping and updated exterior. The iconic red metal roof has been replaced with a new black shingle roof.
For years the Pomeroy Pizza Hut has been a location for area residents to gather after ball games and other activities with family and friends.
The restaurant is open Sundays through Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
