Fatal crash on State Route 143

UPDATED INFORMATION

RUTLAND – A car crash close to State Route 143 and Horner Hill occurred earlier Friday night resulting in one person being killed.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office has been assisting the patrol at the scene of the crash according to a statement from Meigs County Sheriff Keith Wood.

Further details have not been released at the time of publication. As information becomes available, the Meigs Independent Press will update this story.
