GALLIPOLIS, Ohio – Gallipolis in Lights is known for spreading Christmas cheer through town with lights. However, not everyone knows that they also host events throughout the year.
On April 29, 2017 at 6 p.m., they, along with guest Emcee Melvin Biars, will host the Gallipolis in Lights Night at the Colony Club, which is located at 418 2nd Avenue in Gallipolis.
This promises to be a fun and exciting event, that people will not want to miss. Live music will start at 6 p.m. and will be performed by the Stringbenders, which is comprised of Nick Rocchi and Jason Stout. Following the music, there will be a drawing at 7 p.m., and participants must be present to win. There will be a reverse raffle, where one lucky participant could win $1,000, plus lots of door prizes will be given away. There will be games, including a playing card raffle where participants could win a $100 gift card from Ratliff’s Pools, 31 bag sets, two Gallipolis in Lights Gala tickets, four Gallipolis in Lights 5K registrations with t-shirts and much more.
They will be premiering their 2016 video, highlighting events from the past year. So, anyone who attended an event in 2016, may see themselves in the video.
This is a kid friendly event, so no babysitter required. Make it a family fun night. This is a free event, but raffle tickets can be purchased for $20 each, and they are limited and going fast, so anyone interested in raffle tickets, should purchase them soon.
Gallipolis in Lights member; Shari Rocchi stated, “Although this event is a little fundraiser, it is primarily to get the community together for some fun and to show how much their support is appreciated!”
