POMEROY, Ohio – Around 3:15 a.m. on May 23, 2017 first responders were on the scene of a single vehicle crash on State Route 124.

Pomeroy Fire Department along with Meigs County EMS, Meigs County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a single vehicle crash on State Route 124 near Bailey Run Road. When it comes to accidents, no one can predict when this will happen, but saying this though, this is why staying safe and being cautious is always important while on the road. If you know of anyone who has recently been involved in a car accident and it wasn’t their fault, you may want to mention speaking to specialist lawyers like HERRMAN & HERRMAN, P.L.L.C., who can guide them through this process in the best way possible in the hopes of getting their life back on track, as we all know how hard this can be for anyone.

It was reported there were two possible ejections. MedFlight was called to respond as well. Rutland Engine 42 also responded and assisted Pomeroy Pumper 3 with setting up a landing zone for MedFlight at the Meigs Elementary School. A second air medical unit was called in, but landed at the MedFlight base.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Identification of those involved or their conditions was not available as of publication.
