Norman “Woodrow” Mora, 88, Pomeroy, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born on August 22, 1928 in Pomeroy to the late Theodore and Lelah (Wood) Mora. Woodrow retired from the AEP Phillip Sporn Plant.
He is survived by: his children, George (Sue) Mora, Richard (Denise) Mora, Jackie (Steve) Frost, Janet (Greg) Eblin and Judy (Larry) Bunger; grandchildren, Mike (Carrie) Frost, Deb (James) McDaniel, Heather Mora, Andy Mora, Beth (David) Gaul, Brandon Floyd, Jennifer (Brian) Case, Jason (Marjorie) Mora, Ashley Eblin, Juley (Larry) Napper, Kitchel (Tara) Bunger, and Sammy Bunger; 23 great grandchildren; sisters, Martha Mora and Betty Jane (Dale) Russell; caregivers, Anita, Barb, Karen and Keri and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Kathryn Mora. He was also preceded by his sisters, Pauline Myers and Mary Kautz.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 6, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Pastor Jim Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
