ALBANY, Ohio – On October 14, 2017 from noon to 5 p.m., Natural Freedom Wellness Center will be hosting their first open house featuring the completion of phase one in their center renovations.
Natural Freedom Wellness Center, located in Albany just over the Meigs county line in Columbia township, provides nature-based and equine-facilitated opportunities in a relaxed environment for experiential learning, growth and healing. They have been serving the community since 2006. Last year center renovations began in celebration of their tenth year.
The start of the center renovations began with lifting the fifth generation barn 6 inches and a new foundation was laid. The barn originally housed work horses, cattle and a small milking parlor, currently it is home to 10 therapeutic horses. Other renovations included replacing the 85 year old aisle way and adding a brand new tack room with seating. The entire renovation to the center’s group room which includes the addition of a wrap around deck with a beautiful view of the horse pasture.
Natural Freedom’s team has served hundreds of individuals over the years in addition to helping Ohio University and Hocking College students learn in their various chosen career paths.
The Natural Freedom team invites the public to see the center renovations and enjoy a bit of the relaxation. They stated they look forward to answering any questions about their team, their services, and even how Natural Freedom got stated.
