Mary J. Sellers Stover, 61, of Racine, went to be with the angles at 8:10 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017 in the Overbrook Center, Middleport. Born December 24, 1955 in Pomeroy, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Ada Frances Bowers Sellers. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for Ravenswood Village and a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Alvin Stover, whom she married on June 15, 1974, in East Letart, daughters, Sherrie (Bryan) Branham, of Minroe, Michigan, Kayla (Roger Hook) Stover, of Racine, and Megan Stover, of Racine, grandchildren, Alexandria Hook, Brandon Branham, Brad Branham, and Jessika Branham. Sisters, Arlene (Jeff Wickersham) Sellers, of Wilkesville, Susan (Tim) Bishop, of Pomeroy, and Debra Sellers, of Middleport, brothers, Gerald Eugene (Vicki) Sellers, of Sandford, N.C., Edward (Sonja) Sellers, of Parkersburg, WV., Jeffrey “Butch” (Ruth) Sellers, of Racine, and Ernest Sellers, of Long Bottom, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her stepfather, Wayne Rowe, a brother, John R. Sellers, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Elizabeth Stover.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine with Jay Proffitt officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the services on Friday at the funeral home.
