Bend Area Rotary to Hold Pancake Breakfast

POMEROY, Ohio – The Bend Area Rotary Club will be hosting a pancake breakfast on March 10, 2018 from 7:30-10:30 a.m. at the Mulberry Community Center.

The pancake breakfast menu includes pancakes, sausage, biscuits, and gravy. The cost is $5 and the proceeds benefit various Meigs County civic activities adopted by the club.

Formerly known as the Middleport-Pomeroy Rotary Club, the Bend Area Club assists various civic activities throughout the county by contributing to their causes and needs. According to the Rotary International website, “Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.”

Rotarians goals are to: promote peace; fight disease; provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; save mother and children; support education; and grow local economies.
