Theodore Ronald Willford, 79, of Long Bottom, passed away at 4:20 a.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his lifelong residence surrounded by family per his wishes. He was born on February 3, 1939 in Long Bottom to the late George Willford and Irene Hilton. Theodore was a loving husband, father, and brother and was also a farmer by trade. He was a member of the Freedom Gospel Mission. He was born legally blind, and he recently received the precious gift from
God of his eyesight.

Theodore is survived by his wife, Nancy Lawrence Willford, whom he married on September 23, 1989 in Long Bottom, his daughters, Lisa Sellers, Kim (John) Barnes, both of Ravenswood, Penny DeLong, of Long Bottom and Robin (Roger) Tallhamer, of Ripley, West Virginia, a special daughter, Lori Anderson, of the home, grandchildren, Wesley Sellers, Kelsey Sellers, Jody Barnes, Halley Barnes, Ernie Sellers, Noel Sellers, Brady DeLong, Caleb Delong, Bob Arthurs, Regina Tallhamer, and Regan Tallhamer, great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Caiden, Brysen, R.J., Barrett, Bo, Alayna, John Paul, Jayson, Dallas, Lindsay, Ryan, and Tyler. A brother, Roger Willford, Sr., of Tuppers Plains, sisters, Immajean Rutledge, of Tennessee, Joanne Proffitt, of Canton, and Odessa Proffitt, of Portland and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, Theodore is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Henry Hilton, Harry Willford, Henry Willford, and George Willford, Jr. sisters, Retha Clonch, Helen Willford, Georgeanna Willford, and Mary Willford, a special aunt and uncle, Charles and Cora Hilton.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Portland Community Center on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Roger Gene Willford officiating. Cremation services are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine.
