Excessive Heat Warning for Meigs County July 4, 2018

MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio – The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for Meigs County and many of the surrounding counties from noon to 8 p.m. on July 4, 2018.

An Excessive Heat Warning means that a prolonged period of
dangerously hot temperatures will occur. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a dangerous situation in which heat illnesses are likely.

The heat index values are expected to be up to 104 due to temperatures in the lower 90s, and dewpoints in the mid 70s. The heat and humidity may cause heat stress during outdoor exertion or extended exposure.
