Evelyn L. Haley, 90

Evelyn L. Haley, 90, of Glen Dale, WV passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at her home.

She was born January 21, 1928 in Cheshire, OH, the daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn Shular Schuler.

Evelyn was a Nurse’s Aide and a foster parent to over 23 children. She was a Methodist by Faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles M. Haley; one daughter, Kathy Yoho; two sisters, Mary Schuler and Nancy VanMeter; and two brothers, Chuck and Jim Schuler.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary S. (James) Burke of Moundsville, WV; son-in-law, Ronald Yoho of NC, one brother, John (Priscilla) Schuler of Rutland, OH; two sisters, Jane (Harley) Eblin, of Rutland, OH and Jean LaFleur; five grandchildren, Henry J. (Angela) Burke, Elizabeth (Sean Firkle) Yoho-Hocutt, Charles S. Burke, Stephanie (Jamie Lucas) Dayton and Kerry Adam (Karen) Yoho; 10 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday, July 27 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville.

Visitation Monday, July 30 from 6-8 p.m. at Birchfield Funeral Home, 212 Main Street, Rutland, OH 45775 where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31 at 11 a.m.
