Dolores Eileen (Milhoan) Bailey, 86, of Middleport, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the Overbrook Rehabilitation Center.

Dolores was born August 9, 1932.  She was the daughter of the late Albert Marshall Milhoan and Bertha Mae Sovel.

She married William “Bill” Bailey on November 16, 1956, a beautiful union lasting 62+ years.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; a son, Rodney (Sherrie/Cheryl) Bailey of Pomeroy; a daughter, Rita (Larry) Ball of Middleport; two granddaughters, Renee (Brent) Buckley of Pomeroy and Shellie Bailey of Rutland; a grandson, Wyatt (Annisha) Ball of Middleport; two great grandchildren, Hunter and Grace Buckley; a sister, Naomi (William/Bill) King of Middleport; several nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Farie Cole and Eloise Pickett and a holf brother, Clarmont Buchanan.

Dolores was a devoted full time wife and mother.  She and Bill raised their children faithfully attending church regularly throughout their lives, with special mention to the Laurel Cliff Free Methodist Church, the Bradbury Church of Christ, and the Middleport Church of Christ where they attended until her illness.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Meigs County Senior Center, Meals on Wheels Program at 112 East Memorial Drive, Pomeroy, OH 45769.

Friends and family may call between the hours of 1-2 p.m. at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy, Ohio with funeral services immediately following at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2019.  Private graveside services will follow at the discretion of the family.
