Children’s Painting Classes to be held

MIDDLEPORT, Ohio – Painting classes are available through the Riverbend Arts Council for children.
The classes are taught by Wendi Miller and are held at 290 N. Second Street in Middleport. The next Children’s Paint Class Monday, Jan. 21 4-5:30 p.m. The cost of the class is $10. Miller said there are still seats available as of publication for the Monday class.
The classes are for school children from ages 6-18. All skill levels are welcome in the class. All students take home a painting on 8×10 canvas board. All materials are also provided. Those attending are advised to wear clothes that can be “happy accidents.”
Miller says she uses basic strokes, discuss names of brushes, teaches mixing colors, brush strokes, famous works of art, types of paintings, famous painters, and more during the class.
