Harold Ralph Norton, 87, of Pomeroy, Ohio passed away on March 24, 2019. He was born on October 8, 1931 in Salem Center, Ohio son of the late Ralph Norton and Della Russell Norton.
Norton was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the Shade River Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Emogene Fair Norton; sons, Mark (Sharon) Norton of Indiana, Todd Norton of Racine, Ohio and Brent (Denise) Norton of Springfield, PA; grandchildren, Anthony Norton, Karlee (Clayton) Moore, Danny Norton, Rachel Norton, Andrea (Ryan Dunfee) Dixon and Marlena (Michael) Brusacorum; great grandchildren, Cade Dixon, Chase Dixon, Annabelle Brusacorum, Arlynn Brusacorum and Sean Norton; cousin, Sharon Moore of Columbus, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl Norton and Gene “Doc” Norton.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial will follow at Meigs Memory Gardens. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. with Masonic services at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
