Riverbend Arts Council sets Poet’s Night Out event

MIDDLEPORT, Ohio – With April being National Poetry Month, the Riverbend Arts Council has planned a Poet’s Night Out.

Poet’s Night Out is set for Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. at the Riverbend Arts Council located at 290 North Second Avenue in Middleport, Ohio.

Attendees are encouraged to read their favorite poem, read an original poem of their own, come dressed up as their favorite poet or poetic character or even a figure from a poets time and place.

Organizers are asking that there be no “offcolor” limericks, but good limericks are welcome.

If time permits more than one poem may be read if time permits.

There is no admission fee, but donations are welcome according to organizers.

Light refreshments will be available.
