Search warrant executed in Racine, arrests made

RACINE, Ohio – An investigation has been underway which has lead to two unnamed suspects taken into custody in the Village of Racine.

According to a statement from the Racine Marshal’s Office, a search warrant was executed late Saturday, April 20, 2019 in the evening at 407 Walker Alley. “Upon conducting a search of the garage located on the property, a stolen 1984 Harley Davidson motorcycle was recovered. Information gained through a comprehensive investigation led authorities to apprehend two suspects involved in the case,” according to the statement from Racine Marshal S. A. Bell.

Marshal Bell also noted, “Special thanks to the Meigs County Sheriffs Office and the Pomeroy Police Department for their assistance in the investigation.”

According to the statement, all names and details pertaining to the incident will remain confidential during the course of closing investigations. The address in which the search warrant was executed was released as state above.

“As always; I encourage anyone with information regarding criminal activity to notify their local law enforcement. Many of these matters would go unsolved if the community didn’t share information with Law Enforcement,” stated Marshal Bell.
