Sheriff’s Office investigated death
POMEROY, Ohio – The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating a death in Harrisonville.
According to Meigs County Sheriff Keith Wood, his office has been investigating, “what appears to be a self inflicted gunshot wound in Harrisonville last Friday morning around 10 a.m.”
The Athens County Coroner responded and Sheriff Wood did confirm that the body of a male had been sent for autopsy. The name is not being released, nor would it be by the Meigs Independent Press out of respect for the family.
