Southern Five band to play SHS reunion

SYRACUSE, Ohio – The Southern Five band will be performing at the Southern High School Class of 1964 55th reunion on May 25, 2019 at the Syracuse Community Center from

The Southern Five is comprised of Southern High School graduates: Ron Brinker, vocals-guitar; Mike Hayman, guitar; George Norris, bass-vocals; Dennis Wolfe, keyboard-vocals; and David Spencer, drums-vocals. They will be performing hits mainly from the 50s and 60s. The band has played at Racine’s Party in the Park as well as other venues. The Southern Five band will be there from 2-5 p.m.

In the past, the Southern Alumni Association has held a banquet on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. This year there will be no banquet, so the Class of 1964 is inviting all SHS graduates to the dance. Admission is free but they will be accepting donations to help cover costs. Light snacks and finger foods will be available.
