Two arrested in Middleport related to alleged drug discovery
MIDDLEPORT, Ohio – Two men have been taken into custody following a traffic stop in Middleport that turned up alleged drugs.
According to a statement from Middleport Police Chief Bruce Swift, Middleport Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on October 18, 2019. He stated, “During the stop officers discovered suspected heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, various items of drug paraphernalia and approximately $2,000 in cash. Both individuals were taken into custody. This case will be presented to the Meigs County Grand Jury.”
