Backpack Giveaway to be held Racine American Legion
RACINE, Ohio – A backpack giveaway will be held at the American Legion in Racine on December 14, 2019.
School supplies, small items for kids and toys will be given away at American Legion Post 602 beginning at 1 p.m. Children must be registered beforehand to receive a backpack. To register, call 740-444-2118.
Additionally there will be cookies, hot chocolate, and more available in which the public is invited. Only children receiving backpacks need register to ensure there are enough backpacks.
The event is being hosted by the First Southern Baptist Church of Pomeroy and held at the Racine American Legion Post 602.
