Man Sentenced on Drug Convictions

POMEROY, Ohio – On January 14, 2020, Michael Wyatt, 40, of Middleport, Ohio, entered guilty pleas to two counts of Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine) and one count of Trafficking in Drugs (Methamphetamine), each a felony of the second degree. 

Wyatt was sentenced to three years in prison for the Trafficking in Drugs conviction and to two years in prison for each of the Possession of Drugs convictions, with the sentences ordered to be served consecutively, for a total of seven years in prison.  The Gallia-Meigs Major Crimes Task Force investigated this matter.
