Meigs Trade Days and Craft Bazaar Events Scheduled

POMEROY, Ohio – Last year the Meigs County Agricultural Society (more commonly known as the fair board) decided to utilize the Meigs County Fairgrounds facilities more throughout the year. Meigs Trade Days was started as a flea market and farmers market. Meigs Trade Days also had a winter Craft Bazaar that was very successful as well. This spring was to have seen the return of Meigs Trade Days, but the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic meant some of the activities had to be cancelled. With the reopening of Ohio underway, Meigs Trade Days is back on track to open.

According to a statement from the organizers of Meigs Trade Days, “We are planning the June weekend date at this time, in addition to the July date, as well as the ‘Christmas in July’ craft bazaar, that was in the works. Our November Christmas craft bazaar is on schedule as well as the September and October weekend flea market dates and are as follows this message.”

Current schedule for Meigs Trade Days:

June 6-7 – 7am-3pm
July 25-26 – 7 am-3pm
Sept 5-6 – 7 am-3pm
Oct 24-25 – 9am-3pm

Craft Bazaars:
July 25. 7am-3pm
November 28. 9am-3pm

For paid spring craft vendors, there is an accommodation being made. For those that were paid craft vendors, “You will need to choose a date to roll your reservation to, as we are trying to accommodate everyone as best we can. If you are unable to dedicate a date we understand and you will receive a refund by check in the mail as soon as the Meigs Fairboard is able to meet so members can complete this task.
